Director of Finance – Ibiza

About the role

The Director of Finance will act as the strategic financial leader for the property in Ibiza, shaping and executing financial strategies that support the brand’s objectives and enhance profitability. This senior position reports directly to senior management and collaborates closely with operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement property‑wide financial strategies aligned with brand goals.
• Create, monitor, and adjust the annual operating budget and forecast sales versus expenses.
• Analyse financial data, market trends, and variance reports to identify cost‑saving and productivity opportunities.
• Lead the preparation of annual business plans and ensure they support the company’s strategic direction.
• Establish and maintain robust accounting and operational controls to safeguard assets and manage business risks.
• Provide analytical support during budget reviews and drive continuous improvement in financial performance.
• Lead, mentor, and influence the finance team, promoting sound decision‑making and integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field with at least three years of relevant experience, OR a Master’s degree with at least one year of experience.
• Proven experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of risk management and internal control environments.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
