Dishwasher (Fregador/a)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Dishwasher to join our kitchen team at Barceló Playa Blanca. You will ensure that all kitchen areas, equipment and utensils are kept clean, sanitized and ready for service in a fast‑paced hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect common kitchen zones, including floors, walls, work surfaces, drains and passageways.
• Wash and disinfect pots, trays, pans and other kitchen utensils using a dishwasher or manually.
• Clean machinery and equipment such as extractor hoods, carts, shelves, waste bins and auxiliary tables.
• Manage waste segregation, keeping trash areas tidy and orderly.
• Restock cleaning products and monitor their correct usage.
• Strictly follow hygiene, safety and HACCP standards.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a safe, clean working environment.
• Use assigned cleaning chemicals and materials appropriately.
• Maintain overall order of common areas throughout the service.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Secondary education (ESO) completed.
• Previous experience in a similar role is valued.
• No language requirement; basic hospitality knowledge is a plus.
• Team‑oriented attitude with good energy and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Dishwasher operation (machine or manual).
• HACCP compliance.
• Waste segregation and disposal.
• Proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
