Drug Safety Officer

About the role

Grifols is seeking a Technical Drug Safety Officer to support global pharmacovigilance activities for both investigational and marketed products. The role ensures high‑quality safety deliverables and compliance with worldwide regulatory timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, review, process, evaluate and analyse safety data for Grifols products.
• Process adverse event case reports, define required submissions and conduct follow‑up with reporters.
• Perform weekly literature reviews and monitor updates in pharmacovigilance legislation.
• Prepare documentation required by legislation, including periodic safety update reports.
• Support audits and inspections, provide training, and maintain SOPs.
• Operate the pharmacovigilance database: run queries, ensure data consistency, and support configuration updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Health, Life Sciences or a related field.
• Ability to perform essential duties with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of global pharmacovigilance regulations.
