Early Years Native English Teacher

About the role

Agora Sant Cugat International School is seeking a passionate native‑English speaker to join its Early Years Department. This permanent, full‑time position starts on 1 September 2026 and focuses on delivering high‑quality early childhood education for children aged 3 to 6.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons that align with the Early Years curriculum.
• Foster a warm, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate learning environment using play‑based and inquiry‑based methods.
• Support children’s emotional, social, physical and cognitive development.
• Promote early literacy, communication, creativity and foundational skills.
• Observe, document and assess progress, providing regular feedback to families.
• Ensure safety, well‑being and safeguarding of all pupils.
• Collaborate with the Early Years team, specialist teachers and school leadership.
• Communicate effectively with families and participate in school events and professional development.

Required profile

• University degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
• Native‑level English proficiency.
• Experience teaching Early Years and strong understanding of developmental stages for 3‑6 year‑olds.
• Dynamic, empathetic, child‑centred approach.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work in an international, collaborative environment.
• Valid work permit for Spain/EU (if applicable).
• Availability to start in September 2026.
