EHS Consultant

About the role

Ramboll is looking for an EHS Consultant to join its Environment and Health department in Barcelona or Madrid. The role focuses on health and safety compliance and due diligence work in the M&A sector, with emphasis on EHS assessment, planning and strategy. It suits someone who wants to create sustainable change that benefits society and nature.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out environmental and/or health and safety due diligence
• Run EHS compliance audits
• Carry out H&S risk assessments and review the H&S plan
• In the long term, carry out ESG review and reporting
• Take part directly in assignments with clients and third parties such as lawyers, advisors, vendors, buyers and regulators
• Propose and report in Spanish or English; Portuguese is a plus

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in environmental engineering, environmental science, biology, chemistry or a related discipline; a Master's in Health and Safety is a plus
• Proven experience in environmental due diligence (acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, property sales and leases) and/or in EHS management and sustainability services
• Professional fluency in Spanish and English is essential; Portuguese is a plus
