Electrical Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer for its Electrical Unit in Tablada, near Sevilla. The role sits in the Manufacturing Engineering family and focuses on shaping the electrical processes of the future, including digital and autonomous ones, while maintaining and improving the unit's electrical knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Shape the electrical process of the future, digital and autonomous.
• Maintain and enrich the electrical database.
• Take part in the high-level concurrence process with the Design Office.
• Help industrialise the implementation of state-of-the-art tools and methods.
• Write process standards and manage them in Methods and Processes meetings.
• Support the electrical workshop in everyday operations and help it adopt a digital mindset.
• Deploy digital solutions in the production system and use data analytics to forecast trends and preventive actions.
• Share good practices across workshops and help the supply chain adopt high-tech solutions early.
• Use Operational Excellence tools to deliver quick wins in the value chain.
• Create new ideas with partners and share knowledge by learning and teaching.

Required profile

• Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
• At least 4 to 5 years of experience in the sector.
• Advanced level of English.
• Proactive and autonomous, with strong communication and adaptability for cross-functional teamwork, and able to manage shop-floor environments and lead technological change.
