Electrical Systems Installation Design Engineer

About the role

Airbus Helicopters España is looking for an electrical systems installation design engineer in Albacete. You will work in a multidisciplinary, autonomous team in a department responsible for integrating electrical assemblies on helicopter platforms, developing technical know-how around embedded systems in a digital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create 3D models of electrical equipment installations and harness routing in CATIA V5, including harness supports and interface drawings with the surrounding environment.
• Produce 2D manufacturing drawings for parts, equipment assemblies and harnesses, and harness installation documentation with 3D Via.
• Carry out impact studies when modifications occur and interface with other departments in the design office.
• Support production on the assembly line and in production centres, and guarantee the quality approach.
• Travel occasionally, typically two to three business trips per year.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, aeronautics or a related discipline.
• Experience with equipment and harness installation in a 3D environment and with drawing production.
• Ability to work in a complex environment, adapt to changing priorities, and give yourself an overall view of a project.
• Negotiation-level Spanish and advanced English and/or French.

Required skills

• Mastery of CATIA V5, including electrical modules and the EHI module.
• Use of a DMU and 3D environment.
• Knowledge of aeronautical electrical installation regulations.
