Electromechanical Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability and efficiency of production equipment and industrial facilities in the Valencian Community. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose faults, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on production machinery, equipment, and industrial facilities.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, defects, and potential failures.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, downtime, spare parts usage, and corrective actions using a CMMS.
• Monitor inventory and manage spare parts and consumables efficiently.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Collaborate with production teams to plan maintenance activities and minimize disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and company maintenance standards, including proper PPE use.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, modification, and relocation of industrial machinery.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimise processes and equipment performance.

Required profile

• Vocational training (intermediate or advanced) in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in electromechanical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably food industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and industrial automation systems.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
