Electromechanical Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability of industrial and fruit‑processing machinery. The role involves performing both preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing faults, and supporting continuous production on a rotating shift schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on fruit‑processing and other industrial equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Monitor production lines to guarantee efficient operation.
• Maintain machinery in optimal condition to minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve technical issues.
• Perform equipment inspections and routine maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and maintenance procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report performance issues.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives within the maintenance department.

Required profile

• Vocational or technical diploma in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electromechanical maintenance in an industrial environment.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial machinery.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and weekends when required.
• Knowledge of industrial safety and maintenance best practices.
• Experience in fruit processing or food manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial automation and automated systems is an advantage.
