Electromechanical Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial and fruit‑processing machinery. The role reports to the Maintenance Department and is based on‑site in Algemes, Spain, working rotating morning and afternoon shifts on alternate weeks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fruit‑processing and industrial machinery.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical equipment faults.
• Monitor production lines to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
• Maintain machinery in optimal working condition to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve technical issues.
• Carry out equipment inspections and routine maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and maintenance procedures.
• Maintain maintenance records and report equipment performance issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department.
• Assist in maintaining the reliability and availability of production equipment.

Required profile

• Vocational or Technical Diploma in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electromechanical maintenance within an industrial environment.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial machinery.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and weekends when required.
• Knowledge of industrial safety and maintenance best practices.
• Experience in fruit processing or food manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial automation and automated systems is an advantage.
