Electromechanical Service Technician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electromechanical Service Technician to support the maintenance and reliability of production equipment and industrial facilities in the Valencian Community, Spain. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis and ensuring machinery operates efficiently to minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on production machinery, equipment, and industrial facilities.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults to ensure equipment reliability.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, defects, and potential failures before they impact operations.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, downtime, spare parts usage, and corrective actions using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Monitor inventory and ensure the efficient use of maintenance spare parts and consumables.
• Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, and workshop areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Collaborate with production teams to plan maintenance activities and minimize operational disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and company maintenance standards, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist with the installation, commissioning, modification, and relocation of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimise maintenance processes and equipment performance.

Required profile

• Vocational training (Intermediate or Advanced Level) in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience performing electromechanical maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably within the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial automation systems.
• Experience working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
