Electromechanical Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Technician to maintain and improve the reliability of production equipment and industrial facilities in the Valencian Community, Spain. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, and ensuring optimal machinery performance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on production machinery, equipment, and industrial facilities.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults to ensure equipment reliability.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, defects, and potential failures before they impact operations.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, downtime, spare parts usage, and corrective actions using a CMMS.
• Monitor inventory and ensure efficient use of maintenance spare parts and consumables.
• Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, and workshop areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Collaborate with production teams to plan maintenance activities and minimize operational disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and company maintenance standards, including proper use of PPE.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, modification, and relocation of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize maintenance processes and equipment performance.

Required profile

• Vocational training (intermediate or advanced) in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven experience performing electromechanical maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably within the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and industrial automation systems.
• Experience working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
