Electromechanical Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Technician to ensure the reliability and efficiency of production equipment and industrial facilities. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose faults, and support continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and scheduled maintenance on production machinery, equipment, and facilities.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
• Conduct routine inspections to detect wear, defects, and potential failures.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, downtime, spare‑part usage and corrective actions in a CMMS.
• Monitor inventory and manage spare parts and consumables efficiently.
• Maintain tools, equipment and workshop areas in a clean, organized and safe condition.
• Collaborate with production teams to plan maintenance and minimise operational disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and company standards, using appropriate PPE.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, modification and relocation of industrial machinery.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives to optimise maintenance processes and equipment performance.

Required profile

• Vocational training (intermediate or advanced) in electromechanics, industrial maintenance, mechatronics, electrical engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in electromechanical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing setting, preferably the food industry.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
