EMC Testing Engineer – Aerospace

About the role

The EMC Testing Engineer will join the EMC team at Airbus Defence and Space, providing testing services for all platforms to support product certification and qualification from an electromagnetic perspective.

Key responsibilities

• Participate actively in ground testing activities and coordinate supporting means.
• Collaborate with system specialists and design offices to define testing requirements.
• Prepare detailed test procedures and report test results, interpreting observed effects.
• Operate specific RF instrumentation as needed and ensure test facilities meet quality gates.
• Define future testing needs for programmes and conduct quality and H&S audits.

Required profile

• Telecommunication or Industrial Engineering degree (or equivalent).
• Solid knowledge of Electromagnetic Compatibility fundamentals.
• Familiarity with aircraft systems such as AVS, communications and mission equipment.
• Experience with RF measurements and laboratory test processes.
• Willingness to travel up to 50 % of the time and work in an international environment.
