EMC Testing Engineer

About the role

A new position for an EMC Testing Engineer is open within the EMC team at Airbus Defence and Space. The role supports the certification and qualification of aerospace platforms from an electromagnetic perspective.

Key responsibilities

• Active participation in ground testing activities.
• Define testing requirements in collaboration with system specialists and design offices.
• Prepare test procedures and coordinate supporting resources.
• Report and interpret ground test results.
• Utilise specific RF instrumentation as needed.

Required profile

• Telecommunication or Industrial Engineering degree (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of EMC fundamentals and aircraft systems (AVS, COMMS, Mission).
• Familiarity with Airbus Defence and Space platforms and RF measurements.
• Willingness to travel, schedule flexibility and experience in international environments.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, proactive and self‑motivated.
