EMEA Indirect Tax Compliance Specialist

About the role
We are looking for an EMEA Indirect Tax Compliance Specialist to join Revlon’s multi‑country tax team. The role is based in Cornellà de Llobregat (Barcelona) and operates on a hybrid schedule, supporting VAT, customs and excise compliance across key European markets.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and submit indirect tax (VAT, customs, excise) returns for EMEA countries in coordination with internal and external partners.
- Ensure the quality of VAT returns, identify issues and drive continuous improvement of compliance processes.
- Perform monthly review and reconciliation of VAT accounts, including turnover versus VAT bases.
- Support internal and external audits related to indirect taxes.
- Participate in projects assessing VAT implications and manage internal controls over indirect tax processes.
Required profile
- Degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum five years of experience in indirect tax compliance, preferably in an international company, Big 4 or shared service centre.
- Fluent in Spanish and English; good knowledge of French, Italian or German is a plus.
- Proactive, well‑organized, able to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all organisational levels.
Required skills
- Solid knowledge of indirect taxes (VAT, customs, excise) and finance fundamentals.
- Experience with SAP (knowledge of the system is an asset).
