EMEA SitePrint Technical Consultant

About the role

HP's Construction Services team is looking for a Field Technical Consultant to join its SitePrint organization, which uses a construction layout robotic solution to help make construction site layouts. The role is based in Sant Cugat del Valles, Spain, and involves advising, training and supporting customers and partners on the SitePrint technology in the field.

Key responsibilities

• Advise, train, demonstrate and operate the HP SitePrint technology, and integrate technical knowledge with business knowledge to create customer solutions.
• Resolve technical incidents in the field and with the technical application team, escalate complex or cross-technology issues and alert management proactively.
• Provide solutions to partners and end-users and deploy HP solutions to meet moderately complex customer needs, balancing internal and customer needs.
• Build strong relationships with management in assigned accounts, influence delivery decisions and manage small service and customer experience projects, including Service Lifecycle Requirements.
• Help define in-region service infrastructure such as service parts, bench repair, whole unit exchange, knowledge management and training, and drive customer expectation management during escalations.
• Implement technical solutions according to an agreed design, take part in customer and partner onboarding and training, and provide post-sales service.
• Create and share knowledge tools and communities, document project learnings, and lead oral technical meetings with clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or associate degree in a technical field.
• 4-6 years of experience in construction-related fields desired.
• Construction industry experience; civil engineering, surveying, site layout, BIM and site project management are preferred.
• Availability to work on construction sites and to travel 50% of the time.
