Engineering Change Manager – Airbus Derivatives

About the role

Airbus Defence & Space is looking for an Engineering Change Manager to support its Airbus derivatives programmes, including the A330 MRTT, A321 AEWC and A321 Patmar, within the Configuration Design Engineering department in Getafe, Spain.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the flow of design modifications and support certification processes for authorities.
• Prepare configuration reports at various project stages.
• Define criteria and requirements for the design product structure and support its creation.
• Represent the department in configuration meetings and ensure compliance with change objectives.
• Define and validate PLM requirements related to configuration management tasks.
• Update and maintain configuration procedures in the Design Organization Manual.
• Identify certification needs for specific development versions.

Required profile

• Degree in Aeronautical, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2‑3 years experience in Configuration Management (CM contributor level) and in design engineering for MRTT or similar programmes.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish; French is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, proactive and innovative mindset.
