Engineering Multidiscipline Graduate Programme, Spain 2027

About the role

GSK's Engineering Multidiscipline Graduate Programme in Spain starts in September 2027 and is based at its Aranda de Duero site. It offers tailored training and career development for students and recent graduates who want to join the supply chain behind medicines and vaccines, working on cross-functional projects, rotations and a Kaizen assignment. The programme includes a Digital Data & Analytics focus, a sustainability element and mentoring with senior leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute and validate engineering projects in line with industry standards and regulations.
• Manage the lifecycle of new equipment, from design to installation and commissioning, working with suppliers.
• Improve the performance, safety and reliability of manufacturing equipment and utilities through predictive maintenance and lifecycle management.
• Use AI and digital transformation technologies to drive efficiency and innovation.
• Define and implement improvements, upgrades and system changes using control systems and robotics.
• Apply data-driven approaches and data visualisation to monitor processes and improve decision-making.
• Contribute to energy management and sustainability projects supporting the Net Carbon Zero mission.

Required profile

• MSc in engineering fields such as automation, robotics, controls and systems, mechanical, mechatronics, electrical or electronic engineering, computer or systems engineering, manufacturing or industrial engineering, chemical engineering, biomedical or related fields with modules in automation, robotics, systems, software and/or cybersecurity.
• Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English.
• Graduation by August 2027.
• Interest in engineering and pharmaceutical manufacturing, with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimisation.

Required skills

• Technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Clear communication and collaboration, with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage changing priorities and solve problems analytically (e.g. DMAIC/Six Sigma).
