English Teacher (Carabanchel Oporto)

About the role

Kids&Us is looking for an energetic and fun English teacher to join its Carabanchel Oporto school in Madrid. You will teach children aged 1 to 18 using the Kids&Us method, which combines lessons, music, games, stories, and arts & crafts to create meaningful English learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver classes using Kids&Us curriculum, music, games, stories and arts & crafts.
• Monitor each student’s progress and guide learners toward their language goals.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with students, their families, and fellow staff members.
• Communicate professionally and efficiently with parents and colleagues.

Required profile

• Positive, “can‑do” attitude and enthusiasm for children’s learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well‑organized with good time‑management abilities.
• Flexibility in working hours and availability.
• Team‑player mindset.
• Valid work permit and a clean Certificate of Sexual Offences.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher).
• Upper‑intermediate Spanish (B2 or higher) – desirable.
• Teaching experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Required skills

• English language proficiency (C1+).
• Spanish language proficiency (B2+).
