Eurodrone Design Change Manager

About the role

Airbus Defence & Space is looking for a Design Change Manager to support the Eurodrone program in Getafe, Spain. You will work within the Configuration Design Engineering department, driving change processes and tools for the program’s product development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the flow of engineering modifications and provide business operative support.
• Define and maintain the Design Configuration process and related procedures in the Design Organization Manual.
• Represent the function in configuration meetings and organise Configuration Control Boards for PDTs.
• Verify that design product structures comply with change objectives and procedures.
• Support internal and external audits, prepare configuration reports, and validate supplier contracts against configuration requirements.
• Participate in defining PDM/PLM (3DX) requirements and verify their implementation.

Required profile

• Degree in Aeronautical, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in Configuration Management at least at CM Certification level 1 (CM contributor).
• Background in specific design engineering, airworthiness or chief engineering.
• Proficiency with configuration tools/PLM, especially 3DX; knowledge of Sprint.NET is a plus.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Strong English communication skills; Spanish is a plus.
