Events Coordinator

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton Abama Resort is seeking an Events Coordinator to design and deliver memorable experiences for guests. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring every event reflects the brand’s standards of elegance and service.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with clients, hosts and internal coordinators to review event details and confirm arrangements.
• Develop and review event orders, layouts, timelines and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Culinary, Housekeeping, Engineering and other departments to execute events flawlessly.
• Monitor guest requests and special arrangements, delivering them with meticulous attention to detail.
• Oversee event execution on the day, anticipate needs and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain compliance with Marriott International policies, quality standards and safety procedures.

Required skills

• Event planning and coordination experience in a hotel or resort setting.

• Knowledge of hospitality operations, including F&B, housekeeping and engineering.
