About the role
Expeditors is seeking an Export Agent (VLC) – OM to join its global logistics team. In this position you will handle export documentation, coordinate shipments, and ensure smooth freight flow for our customers.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and verify export documents.
- Prepare, route, and manage shipments in the Expeditors system.
- Handle freight receipt and monitor shipments through track‑and‑trace.
- Communicate with shippers, brokers, terminals, service providers and other Expeditors offices.
- Process billing and accounting entries accurately and on time.
Required profile
- Fluent English communication skills.
- 6 months to 1 year of related experience or equivalent education.
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Professional, team‑oriented attitude with effective interpersonal skills.
