Factory Controller – Nestlé Waters

About the role

The Factory Controller reports directly to the Factory Manager and acts as the financial guardian of the Nestlé Waters facility. Partnering with the Factory Leadership Team, the role ensures sound financial vision, accurate forecasting and compliance with Nestlé standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and drive cost‑improvement opportunities, validate savings and challenge assumptions using internal and external benchmarks.
• Manage factory reporting of actuals and forecasts, maintain the Factory Cost Dashboard and ensure data ownership at source.
• Provide strategic financial analysis for major decisions, ensuring transparency of costs and non‑financial implications.
• Lead the business planning process, own the overall factory budget and act as liaison with Head Office.
• Ensure asset and liability control, implement internal controls and oversee segregation of duties.
• Coordinate routine audit activities, champion compliance and serve as the main contact for internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial controlling or cost accounting, preferably in manufacturing or food production.
• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and cost control in a factory environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically SAP.
• Experience using financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical abilities for cost analysis and forecasting.
