F&B Service Expert – Barcelona

About the role

As a Guest Service Expert at Renaissance Barcelona, you will help create memorable dining experiences for guests by delivering attentive service and ensuring smooth operations throughout the restaurant.

Key responsibilities

• Set and arrange tables, ensuring proper presentation and readiness for guests.
• Communicate orders and special requests with the kitchen staff.
• Interact with guests, take orders, serve food and beverages, and address any immediate needs.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, tables, and service supplies.
• Handle menu information, verify items, and assist guests in making selections.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking on varied surfaces, lifting up to 25 lb unaided (or 50 lb with assistance), and reaching overhead or below knee level.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Less than one year of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work safely and follow company policies and uniform standards.

Required skills

• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and move items weighing up to 25 lb (50 lb with help).
• Ability to read and verify menu information accurately.
