Field Service Representative EF - Gando Air Base

About the role

Aerospacial company Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Field Service Representative EF to work at the customer's facilities at Gando Air Base on Gran Canaria. The department guarantees permanent on-site technical support and representation, ensuring safe and effective operations under the most economical conditions for the customer. The role involves component repair, troubleshooting, technical advice and support for maintenance plans and EF aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the focal point for the customer and provide technical assistance for reliable, cost-effective operations
• Advise technical personnel on troubleshooting, repair and maintenance, maintenance programmes and ground support equipment, and on implementing modifications
• Carry out field missions, replace failed units on site, manage maintenance and repairs, implement upgrades and support maintenance plans
• Support tests and tasks on EF aircraft as a certified engineer and provide technical interface with customers
• Deliver aircraft and components in quality, cost and time, and develop reports and procedures for defect repair
• Propose changes to maintenance documentation, prepare alternatives and train other members and the customer on the job
• Develop new initiatives to improve fleet operation and comply with rules and procedures

Required profile

• Aeronautical or industrial engineering degree or a related discipline
• Desirable: at least 1 year of experience performing the duties of the position
• English
• Availability to travel and to assignments at other customer facilities (Albacete, Getafe, Seville)
