Finance Analyst – Iberia (Spain)

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join our Iberia finance team in Spain. The role operates in a dynamic, multinational environment, supporting multiple legal entities across Spain and Portugal while collaborating with global finance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Iberia Finance Controller across legal entities, including a manufacturing plant.
• Assist with month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closings in line with US GAAP and local statutory requirements.
• Prepare accurate financial reports, submit them to US corporate, and provide documentation for external audits.
• Contribute to financial statement reviews, statutory reporting and tax compliance (corporate tax, VAT, statutory filings) with external advisors.
• Partner with shared services to ensure correct accounting entries and reporting integrity.
• Monitor compliance with local regulations, SOX requirements and internal controls.
• Provide financial insights to the business, highlight risks and support decision‑making.
• Participate in finance projects, system improvements and process optimisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration.
• 2‑3 years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in an international or manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish accounting standards; US GAAP familiarity is a plus.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities and high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
