Finance Director – FP&A

About the role

Nexthink is seeking a senior Finance Director to lead its FP&A function. Reporting directly to the VP of FP&A, you will own the full planning and performance‑management cycle and act as the primary finance partner to the CFO and business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end annual operating plan (AOP) process, including timeline, methodology, cross‑functional coordination, consolidation and executive presentation.
• Maintain and evolve a 3‑5 year long‑range financial model, performing scenario analysis for headcount, market entry, product investment and M&A decisions.
• Run rigorous monthly and quarterly re‑forecast cycles to provide accurate, well‑reasoned views of financial performance.
• Partner with GTM, Product and People leaders to translate financial data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
• Develop investment cases for major strategic initiatives such as new market expansion, pricing changes and capital allocation.
• Own the SaaS financial metrics framework (ARR, NRR, GRR, CAC, LTV, payback period, Rule of 40, gross margin) and design management reporting that links operational drivers to financial outcomes.
• Directly manage a team of FP&A managers and analysts, fostering their development into independent business partners.

Required profile

• Senior finance professional with extensive FP&A experience in a SaaS or technology environment.
• Proven ability to lead complex budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning processes.
• Strong analytical rigor and comfort pressure‑testing unit‑economics models.
• Excellent communication skills to influence senior leadership and present financial insights.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing finance teams.
