Finance Intern - Innovative Medicines Principal Operations

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is looking for a Finance Intern for its Innovative Medicines Principal Operations (IMPO) team in Madrid. The intern gets end-to-end exposure to a global FP&A environment, combining financial analysis with digital transformation, and works within an international team based in Switzerland, the Netherlands and Ireland. The internship lasts 1 year and is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting and closing cycles through data collection, consolidation, validation and preparation of planning templates.
• Analyse P&L, headcount, cash flow and other key financial metrics and help prepare summaries, dashboards and presentations for management reviews.
• Check and reconcile financial data across reporting and planning tools, investigating differences.
• Identify ways to simplify recurring FP&A work and support Excel, Power BI, automation and AI-enabled solutions.
• Help test, document and implement new FP&A tools and reporting processes.
• Support ad-hoc analysis and financial deep dives for business decisions.

Required profile

• Preferred degree or master's in Finance, Business Administration or Economics.
• Fluent English, written, read and spoken, as the team is international.
• Analytic, organizational and team skills.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
• Power BI, Power Automate and AI tools (nice to have)
