Finance Manager (Hybrid, Barcelona)

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our fast‑growing Series B SaaS company in Barcelona. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will lead accounting and controlling functions while working closely with cross‑functional teams and external auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual closings across all entities and manage relationships with external accounting firms.
• Own balance‑sheet reviews, reconciliations, tax compliance and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Lead the annual audit process as the main point of contact for auditors.
• Manage budget vs. actual reporting, financial modelling, forecasting and monthly budget reviews with department heads.
• Develop KPI reports for leadership and board meetings.
• Identify and implement AI‑driven process automation to reduce manual work.
• Oversee the Procure‑to‑Pay process, invoice approvals, vendor contract reviews and spend optimisation.
• Maintain rolling cash forecasts, monitor liquidity and proactively address cash‑flow risks.

Required profile

• 2–6 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years in audit (Big 4 or equivalent).
• Strong accounting fundamentals with hands‑on experience in month‑end closings, financial statements and external audits.
• Startup or scale‑up experience is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
