Financial Accounting Intern

About the role

Join a fast‑growing aerospace and defense company as a Financial Accounting Intern. You will work with an international finance team, supporting day‑to‑day accounting activities across several European entities while gaining insight into the financial operations of a high‑growth environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing invoices and record bank transactions.
• Respond to accounting queries from suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable reports.
• Support project management, procurement, and other departments with finance‑related requests.
• Help process intercompany transactions and perform account reconciliations.
• Contribute to VAT and Intrastat reporting under senior guidance.
• Participate in weekly and monthly management reporting and month‑end closing activities.
• Support internal and external audit preparations and maintain accurate financial documentation.
• Engage in process‑improvement initiatives and finance team projects.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
• Strong communication skills in English (minimum C1) and Spanish.
• Availability for a full‑time internship of 6–8 months.
