Financial Analyst – Temporary (Valencia)

About the role

Colgate‑Palmolive is seeking a temporary Financial Analyst to join its Cost team in Valencia, Venezuela. The analyst will ensure the accuracy of cost‑related financial data, support month‑end close, and provide insights that help optimise manufacturing expenses.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly financial close for cost‑related accounting, ensuring timely and accurate postings.
• Perform balance‑sheet and expense variance analyses (actual vs. budget) and present findings to management.
• Manage monthly inventory reconciliations and monitor price and freight variances.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors on compliance reviews for costs, inventory and fixed assets.
• Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver transparent cost‑driver visibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree completed.
• At least 1 year of experience in financial analysis, cost accounting or general accounting, preferably in a multinational or manufacturing environment.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
