Fixed-Term Ticket & Gate Agent (Customer Service) – Barcelona

About the role

Delta is looking for a Fixed‑Term Ticket and Gate Agent to join its Barcelona ground crew. You will act as a key liaison between passengers, flight crews, and airport partners, ensuring a smooth, safe, and on‑time aircraft turnaround while delivering world‑class customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with business partners to manage aircraft turnaround, baggage acceptance, and customer handling.
• Oversee check‑in, ticket sales, and gate operations, maintaining organization and flow.
• Address connecting‑flight disruptions, provide solutions, and keep passengers informed.
• Facilitate communication with flight crews on the ground and support safety oversight when senior managers are unavailable.
• Monitor compliance with safety and security procedures, complete station checklists, and conduct audits.
• Encourage passengers to use airport technology for a faster experience and handle any operational disruptions promptly.

Required profile

• Permanent, valid authorization to live and work in the EU (Spain) – no visa sponsorship provided.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Strong operational expertise, customer‑service orientation, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety, security, and diversity.
