Flight Operations Support Specialist – A330 MRTT

About the role

The department designs, develops and delivers training and operations support solutions for Airbus Defence and Space customers operating military aircraft. This position focuses on the A330 MRTT program, ensuring flight operations manuals and support services meet operator expectations and program schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Act as product responsible for A330 MRTT Flight Operations Manuals, leading technical discussions with customers and internal teams.
• Lead and coordinate subcontracted authors, supervise technical content, and act as the principal Subject Matter Expert for A330 MRTT.
• Control technical configuration and content of publications, perform authoring when needed, and support system validation activities.
• Manage operational support activities, respond to service requests, and produce Flight Operations Transmissions and briefing notes.
• Develop and implement project plans, define work packages, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent flight‑operations experience.
• Minimum 3 years experience in flight‑operations publications or support, preferably with team and project management responsibilities.

Required skills

• Team management and project management experience.
• Technical authoring, including use of Airbus ADOC and FODM tools.
• Knowledge of Airbus Defence and Space military systems for the A330 MRTT program.
• Familiarity with Airbus GOLD for technical documentation.
• Advanced proficiency in Spanish and English.
