Foreign Exchange and Treasury Officer

About the role

This position is responsible for the timely and accurate execution of foreign exchange trades and treasury investments across multiple business lines, as well as the preparation of management and regulatory reports for Caribbean markets.

Key responsibilities

• Input and authorize all Pan‑Caribbean FX and treasury transactions promptly and accurately.
• Prepare, verify, and submit open currency position, management and regulatory reports for Trinidad and Bahamas markets.
• Review and distribute incoming transactions, ensuring compliance with delegated authority and trading limits.
• Manage end‑of‑day queues and meet service level agreements.
• Develop technical skills and obtain necessary accreditations to support service levels.
• Provide coverage during planned and unplanned absences.
• Identify and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance client experience and operational risk.

Required profile

• Diploma in Management or related discipline, or equivalent training.
• Minimum five years of banking experience, specifically in payments processing.
• Strong knowledge of core banking operations and regulatory requirements for Caribbean markets.
• Analytical judgment, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Core banking applications: T24, RIBS.
• Stand‑alone systems: SWIFT Alliance, BESS.
• Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint.
