Founding Forward Deployed Engineer – French Speaking

About the role

HappyRobot.ai is seeking a founding Forward Deployed Engineer who will work directly with French‑speaking customers to deliver, integrate and optimise its AI workforce platform. The role blends hands‑on full‑stack development with customer‑facing engineering, ensuring that enterprises can deploy autonomous AI agents across voice, email and other systems.

Key responsibilities

• Guide customers through onboarding, implementation and ongoing usage of the HappyRobot AI platform.
• Develop new product features, MVPs and scalable solutions using React, TypeScript, Node.js and Python.
• Design and iterate AI/ML components such as LLM prompting, voice model tuning and transcription services.
• Manage API integrations with third‑party systems to ensure seamless functionality.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Customer Success teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Prioritise and drive multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality.

Required profile

• Native or fluent French speaker (C1/C2 level) for direct client communication.
• Strong full‑stack development experience with React, TypeScript and Node.js.
• Hands‑on proficiency in Python.
• Proven experience building AI/ML applications, including LLM prompting and voice tuning.
• Ability to design, implement and maintain API integrations.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
