FP&A Controller (Dynamics 365)

About the role

Sulzer is seeking a dynamic FP&A Controller to join its Finance & Controlling team in Madrid. You will work with international stakeholders, provide financial analytics, and support the growth of a newly established office. This role offers the chance to influence strategic decisions in a global, mission‑driven engineering company.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and consolidate the annual budget, aligning it with company objectives.
• Refresh and update financial forecasts to reflect current business trends.
• Conduct profitability and performance reporting, highlighting key financial metrics.
• Perform plan analytics and risk assessments to improve FP&A processes.
• Provide data‑driven recommendations to support strategic decision‑making.
• Manage collections reporting and analytics.
• Deliver procurement reporting and analytics to aid purchasing decisions.
• Oversee period‑end close processes and generate accurate financial reports.
• Handle CAPEX planning, forecasting, investment strategy, and related reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and maintain strong internal controls.
• Adhere to QESH regulations and uphold financial compliance standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a similar finance role.
• Interest or exposure to the industrial sector is a plus.
