Fregador/a – Dishwasher

About the role

Barceló Hotel Group is seeking a dedicated dishwasher (Fregador/a) for its hotel in Huelva, Spain. The role ensures that all tableware and kitchen equipment are cleaned to the highest standards, supporting the smooth operation of the hotel’s food and beverage services.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of all dishes, glasses and utensils used by guests.
• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the assigned kitchen areas.
• Operate and care for cleaning equipment such as the industrial dishwasher, hand‑washing stations, pot‑scrubbing units and waste compactors.
• Apply appropriate detergents, disinfectants and rinse agents according to safety guidelines.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Medium‑level vocational training (Ciclo Formativo Grado Medio) or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar dishwasher or kitchen support role is valued.
• No language requirement; basic hospitality knowledge is a plus.
• Team‑oriented attitude, high energy level and good time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Operation of industrial dishwashing equipment.
• Use of cleaning chemicals and disinfectants.
• Basic maintenance of cleaning tools and waste‑handling equipment.
