French-speaking Accounting Manager

About the role

Join a fast‑growing international dental group as the French‑speaking Accounting Manager. Based in Sant Cugat del Vallès, you will lead the newly created French finance hub within a shared service centre serving multiple European markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of three accountants, ensuring timely month‑end and year‑end closings.
• Own the full accounting cycle for the French market, from transaction recording to reporting.
• Act as the in‑house expert on French accounting standards, reducing reliance on external providers.
• Collaborate with external accountants on tax and audit matters while maintaining internal control.
• Produce financial reports and analysis for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with French regulations and maintain clean, reliable numbers.
• Partner with French labs, country teams, and operations directors.
• Contribute to building a cross‑country shared service model.

Required profile

• Fluent French and English; Spanish is a plus.
• Based near Barcelona or willing to relocate, with appropriate work permits.
• Degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in French accounting, including team management.
• Strong knowledge of French accounting rules and regulations.
• Proven ability to meet strict reporting deadlines.

Required skills

• ERP systems such as SAP, SAGE or Navision.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.

What we offer

• Permanent full‑time contract (Monday‑Friday).
