French Technical Support Agent – Barcelona

About the role

We are looking for a native‑level French speaker with technical aptitude to join the Benelux Tech Support team of a European payments leader in Barcelona. The role provides first‑line B2B technical assistance to merchants, both from the office and remotely, using a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound technical support requests via phone, email and ticketing system.
• Assist new merchants with account set‑up and configuration.
• Troubleshoot technical issues such as account parameters, transaction errors, payment page problems and integration failures.
• Provide accurate product information and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and ensure seamless service.

Required profile

• Native‑level French (spoken and written) and good English.
• 1‑2 years experience in technical support or customer service in a technical environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
