French‑Speaking Sales Development Representative

About the role

Lightspeed is looking for a motivated French‑speaking Sales Development Representative to join its fast‑growing sales team in Spain. You will be the first point of contact for potential customers, helping to generate and qualify leads that drive revenue for the company’s retail and restaurant technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep knowledge of the hospitality industry, including trends and competitor activity.
• Qualify warm inbound leads from marketing sources (webinars, trials, demo requests) via phone and email.
• Conduct discovery calls to uncover business needs and assess fit using frameworks such as BANT.
• Book meetings and product demos for Account Executives, ensuring a smooth handover.
• Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, pipeline activity, and lead status in Salesforce CRM.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams, sharing market feedback and contributing to strategy.
• Help execute sales and marketing initiatives aimed at increasing Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR).

Required profile

• Fluency in French (spoken and written).
• Experience in a sales or call‑centre environment with a proven record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Strong understanding of sales development best practices, including lead qualification and pipeline management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive, customer‑focused approach.
• Proactive problem‑solver who can anticipate challenges and deliver creative solutions.
• Highly collaborative and able to influence cross‑functional teams.
