Front Office Systems Intern

About the role

As a Front Office Systems Intern you will help maintain static data, perform regular business‑as‑usual activities and respond to user queries. You will also explore AI and automation tools to boost productivity while developing expertise in Bloomberg AIM and the Bloomberg Terminal.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain static data and execute BAU tasks for the Front Office Systems team.
• Respond to user queries and participate in status calls with investment management teams across regions.
• Explore and prototype AI and automation solutions to improve user support and operational efficiency.
• Develop technical expertise in Bloomberg AIM and Bloomberg Terminal, learning order management, trade execution and post‑trade processes.
• Collaborate with Investment Managers, Compliance Officers and Operations teams throughout the trading lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to enhance existing processes and support the evaluation of innovative technologies.

Required profile

• Pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Finance or Business Analytics.
• Strong interest in technology, digital innovation and practical AI applications.
• Analytical mindset with a willingness to investigate issues and suggest improvements.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence to interact with colleagues worldwide.
• Enthusiasm for learning investment‑management workflows and financial systems.
• Minimum English proficiency of B2 (Upper‑Intermediate) and availability for a 6‑month part‑time internship.
