Full-Stack Developer (Java & React)

About the role

Talan is looking for a talented Full‑Stack Developer to join its technology team in Spain. You will work on scalable web applications, combining Java on the backend with React on the frontend, and contribute to cloud‑based solutions in an agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain full‑stack applications using Java (Spring Boot) and React.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and micro‑services.
• Create responsive user interfaces with modern JavaScript/TypeScript practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to deliver high‑quality software.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
• Deploy, monitor and optimise applications hosted on Microsoft Azure.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot performance, scalability and security issues.
• Document technical solutions and share knowledge within the team.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Full‑Stack Developer or similar role.
• Strong backend development skills with Java, preferably using Spring Boot.
• Solid frontend experience with React.js.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
• Hands‑on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server or MySQL.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Experience using GitLab for source control and CI/CD pipelines.
