Full Stack Engineer – Vue.js Frontend Focus

About the role

BESTSECRET is looking for a Full Stack Engineer who is passionate about building high‑quality, data‑driven user interfaces. You will work on the next generation of our e‑commerce platform, shaping frontend architecture and delivering features that impact millions of shoppers across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑traffic frontend systems for the web shop, ensuring fast, accessible and visually engaging experiences.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend engineers and analysts to turn insights into production‑ready features.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, focusing on performance, scalability, maintainability and future growth.
• Implement user‑facing features for product discovery, search, recommendations, checkout, payments, accounts, loyalty and self‑service.
• Integrate with backend services and external systems such as ERP, logistics, BI, CRM and product data.
• Promote engineering excellence through pair programming, mentoring, tooling improvements and modernisation of large‑scale applications.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (Vue.js preferred; React or Angular also acceptable).
• Strong understanding of performance optimisation, responsive UI, accessibility and component‑driven architecture.
• Hands‑on experience in complex environments, ideally e‑commerce, and familiarity with REST, GraphQL and micro‑services.
• Comfortable working with cloud‑native technologies such as Azure, Kubernetes, CDNs, caching and edge rendering.
• Experience with collaborative workflows, pair programming and CI/CD pipelines.
