Fullstack Developer – Work & Study Programme in Barcelona

About the role

Impress, Europe’s leading invisible orthodontics chain, is looking for a mid‑to‑senior Fullstack Developer to join its Barcelona office through Harbour.Space’s Work & Study Programme. You will work full‑time while pursuing a fully‑funded Master’s degree, gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑growing health‑tech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full‑stack features using Node.js, NestJS and React.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and work with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Own features end‑to‑end across a platform serving 110+ clinics across Europe.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers and engineers to ship new functionality.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Ensure reliability, security and performance standards in a regulated healthcare setting.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional full‑stack development experience.
• Strong backend skills with Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS.
• Solid frontend experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Hands‑on experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases in production.
• Understanding of REST API design, micro‑services and basic DevOps principles.
• Fluent English and willingness to relocate to Barcelona.
