General Ledger Accountant

About the role

Opdenergy, a global renewable energy producer, is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to support its worldwide projects. The role will involve handling financial transactions, accounting for project progress, and ensuring accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate and record financial transactions, including loans and swaps.
• Account for and analyse progress of projects under construction.
• Record accruals of operating income and expenses.
• Review and reconcile intercompany balances.
• Perform regular accounting reconciliations.

Required profile

• Degree in Administration and Finance or equivalent.
• Based in Sevilla.
• Proven experience in similar accounting positions.
• Experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
• Good English language skills.
