About the role

ACCIONA seeks a Business Development Manager to lead the preparation and coordination of transmission line project bids, both nationally and internationally, within a public‑private partnership framework.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the preparation of competitive bids for transmission tenders, ensuring compliance with formal and strategic requirements.
• Manage internal and external partners to integrate technical, financial and legal components of proposals.
• Control bid schedule and budget, maintaining efficiency and quality throughout the process.
• Serve as the operational liaison with the contracting authority, handling inquiries, clarifications and presentations.
• Plan and manage the bid plan, set schedules, responsibilities and deliverables for each tender phase.
• Coordinate technical, O&M, environmental, social, land, financial, legal and ESG areas to ensure coherent integration.
• Review tender documentation, develop compliance checklists and ensure all requirements are met.
• Establish and manage partnerships and contractors, verify quality and consistency of information.
• Control bid preparation budget, approve extraordinary expenses and optimise resource use.
• Supervise RFIs/Q&A preparation, consolidate questions and manage official responses.
• Validate key sections of the proposal (technical, social, environmental, financial) to align with bid strategy.
• Manage presentation schedules, prepare materials and train speakers for authority defenses.
• Identify and mitigate risks during the tender process and participate in post‑tender evaluations.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Economics or Business Administration; master’s degree desirable.
• 10‑20 years of experience managing concession or infrastructure tenders, preferably in public‑private partnership environments.
• Fluent English (minimum C1 level).
