Global HR Business Partner – 12‑Month Fixed Term in Madrid

About the role

The Global HR Business Partner will join a leading FMCG organisation on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, based in Madrid. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will support both local and global HR initiatives, ensuring effective HR operations and an outstanding employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end employee lifecycle for Group employees, providing guidance on HR policies, employee relations and compliance with internal standards and Spanish employment law.
• Partner with the Global HR team and business leaders on strategic people initiatives, organisational design, workforce planning and HR transformation across multiple locations.
• Support global HR system implementations, process improvements and change‑management activities to drive operational excellence.
• Oversee workplace and facilities management for the Madrid office.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Spanish employment practices and experience supporting international employee populations.
• Significant HR experience in an international, matrixed environment, with exposure to HR business partnering, employee lifecycle management and HR operations.
• Proven track record in organisational design, HR transformation initiatives and HR systems implementations.
• Highly organised, excellent communicator and influencer with strong analytical capabilities and a proactive, hands‑on approach.
