Gobernante/a de Hotel en Puerto Banús

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor (Gobernante/a) for our Occidental Hotel in Puerto Banús. You will lead the housekeeping team, ensure high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction, and coordinate with other departments.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and distribute work among the housekeeping sections.
• Supervise preparation and cleaning of rooms, especially VIP rooms, public areas and floor offices.
• Oversee laundry cleaning and timely delivery to guests while controlling related charges.
• Prepare occupancy reports and verify discrepancies with the Reception Manager.
• Monitor the condition of furniture, linen, room installations and laundry equipment.
• Check maintenance reports sent to Technical Services and ensure repairs are carried out promptly.
• Coordinate room blockings for necessary maintenance and conservation work.
• Establish and verify stock levels of linen, supplies and cleaning materials, and control related expenses.
• Create staff shift schedules, send attendance and HR reports to the Personnel Department.
• Take responsibility for and register any found objects.

Required profile

• Medium‑level vocational training in Hospitality and Tourism.
• Proven experience as a Sub‑Housekeeping Supervisor or Housekeeping Supervisor.
• High level of English; additional language is a plus.
• Knowledge of office automation tools.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities, initiative and innovation.
