Guide Wire Operator I – Manufacturing (Second Shift)

About the role

This position works out of our Barceloneta location in the Abbott Vascular Division, supporting the second shift in the FG Area. Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost‑effective products for treatment of vascular disease. As a Guide Wire Operator I you will support daily production, quality and safety commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, repair, inspect and/or test products following defined manufacturing procedures.
• Operate a variety of machinery or manufacturing equipment following defined procedures.
• Adhere to quality and compliance company guidelines.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain good documentation practices as defined in operating procedures.
• Dispose of toxic waste in designated areas.
• Train other employees when necessary.
• Keep all required certifications up to date.
• Perform other operational tasks for the department as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma is required.
• No previous manufacturing experience is required.
• Ability to read and understand basic instructions and work‑related documents in English.
• Basic interpretation of production area practices and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive process and company information.
